BAKGONI CAMP

The Bakgoni Camp launched on 21 October 2019 in Rapotokwane Mpumalnga, South Africa with 30 participants. Bakgoni means ‘capable people’ and provides the experiences, training, and mentoring for them to take the next steps to create the income and life they want. The Healing Hands Foundation along with InSite raised the seed funding to start this camp.

South African Partners

Our shared aim is to provide a platform and support so that more people get the support needed for finding gainful employment. InSite Agents who come to South Africa work alongside our SA partners in their initiatives. Our aim in bringing the students to these sites it to gain the experience of seeing community development in action and how necessary relationships are when working for social change.
