The Bashumi Project is going Organic!

As the founders of the Bashumi Project continue to move forward there are working hard to qualify for a nationwide farming contest called the Women in Farming competition which has further led them in the process of going organic. This is great news! They will begin the farm on their own property without the use of toxic chemicals.

Currently, they are building a two room structure so they can stay overnight and farm more efficiently. The long term dream is to have everyone who works on the farm have a home on the property, start a school, and run a camp to help train others in how to run a business and be self sufficient.
