Refugees in Europe are suffering. It’s getting colder and those living in camps are in tents. Imagine being in a tent with no blankets. Imagine children who have traveled on their own, sent by their parents to secure a better life, not having a warm jacket or a blanket. This is the reality of thousands of people.
Let’s do something about this. Will you join us?
Here’s what to do:
Collect needed items.
Ask others to do the same. Share this post and personally ask others to join.
**Bring items to by TUESDAY 28 November:
- RETRO : Tweede Constantijn Huygensstraat 57, 1054 CR Amsterdam, from Fri from 12-18 & Sat and Sun. from 12-17.
- AICS: During school hours.
- ISA ( Almere): During School hours
Stay tuned and hear the stories of the InSite team and discover more ways to stay connected to our shared humanity.
The InSite team is going to the Calais camp in France to help from 1-3 December. We are working in conjunction with three NGO’s who are on the ground 24/7. (L'Auberge des Migrants, Utopia56, Refugee Community Kitchen). Human Aid in Greece is organizing all the details for us to stay and work for the weekend.
In addition to collecting the needed items, the InSite team will:
Help prepare over 2700 meals that are served daily & organize the items in the warehouse.
Work alongside and interview volunteers
